Below is a copy of the question for the week two reading response of The Arrival. Remember, the book is available on this blog. Please don't read ahead.
A short reminder that there will be a quiz on numbers 1-30 this coming Monday.
Reading response for the first chapter of The Arrival is due Tuesday, October 31st. Students should pick a page in the first chapter and answer the question on the reading response handout. Below is a copy of the handout in case it is lost or misplaced. The book can be accessed from the home page of this blog.
A short reminder that the French wanted poster is due Monday, October 23.
Yesterday the students received a study guide for the upcoming test on the Matchbox Diary. As we only have one copy of the book, the best way for the students access the book is to listen to a teacher read the book out loud by going to the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_UvhKtwedI. Below, I have also attached a copy of the study guide in case it somehow gets lost. Any questions about the test should be asked before October 23.
For homework the students are to choose five artifacts that are important to their individual histories and write a 25-word explanation of the significance of each object. They do not have to bring the objects to school. If for some reason they did not receive or lost the worksheet, below is a copy of the document.
